What is Bison?

Bison is a novel AMM protocol built on Blast and Merlin that allows users to deposit assets and earn yield.

Bison allows users to create balancer-style weighted pools (e.g, 60% BTC, 35% USDC, 5% ETH) with up to 8 assets, enabling liquidity providers to precisely control their exposure to each asset in the pool while maximizing their potential return.

Bison's mainnet release is scheduled for Summer 2024.

What differentiates Bison from other AMMs?

Weighted AMM pools, such as those used by Bison, represent a flexible way to manage liquidity. Weighted pools can have any number of tokens with arbitrary percentages, unlike the standard AMM pools (e.g., Uniswap) that typically have a 50:50 ratio of two tokens. This flexibility allows users to create diversified index funds and more complex trading strategies, while minimzing impermanent loss.

What are Boosted Pools?

Boosted Pools are high-yield weighted pools that maximize returns by combining yields from underlying token protocols, trading fees, and incentives offered by Bison.

What is Bison Gold?

Bison Gold is a points-based system used to determine your eligibility for the upcoming Bison token airdrop. Your share of the airdrop will be determined based on your Gold holdings.

How does the points system work?

You can accumulate Bison Gold either by referring new users through Twitter or depositing liquidity.

• You will receive 1,500 GOLD per user you refer.
• You will earn a 15% referral bonus for all Gold accumulated by your invited users.

What is the referral bonus?

The 15% referral bonus means that you will receive an additional 15% of all Gold accumulated by users you invite. For example, if a user you referred earns 10,000 GOLD, you will receive an extra 1,500 GOLD (15% of 10,000).
